Turck has added a new addition to its family of sensors: the LUS211 Ultrasonic Level Sensor with local LED display. The LUS211 is a programmable sensor for measuring solid and liquid levels in an enclosure, and features a rotatable stainless-steel housing and capacitive touch pad menu navigation for easy programming. This is a non-contact sensor and not susceptible to damage or material build-up, giving it a long service life. The LUS211 features IO-Link, switching or analog outputs and easy vessel geometry parameterization to provide application flexibility, and can also determine critical factors such as tank fill percentage or volume of material in gallons or liters. This new sensor is ideal for all types of level sensing applications in non-pressurized vessels found in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries, bulk storage, and injection molding applications.
