Leuze recently introduced two new distance sensors to its line. These new distance sensors add to an already large selection of Leuze products that offer different designs and with long operating ranges and several switching points available. The ODS 110/HT 110 and HRT 25B L have a compact housing size and an operating range of up to 5 meters, which means they are particularly suited for use in situations with limited installation space in pallet warehouses and for automated material flow where two switching points are required.

In addition to the multi-depth compartment occupation check, these include for example push-through or collision protection in shuttle applications. The new distance sensors are characterized by a high repeatability of 3 mm and extremely high color and surface independence.
